| How Important Is Employee Satisfaction? |
Chris Young - Founder, The Rainmaker Group
Every week I help clients in their efforts to Maximize Possibility in their organizations. Not surprisingly many organizations seeking to improve their organization's performance come to us with similar questions and concerns.
I had a great conversation with a potential client last week about a recent employee satisfaction survey her organization had administered. The survey results indicated that employee satisfaction levels were barely above 40%.
As a human resources professional this was cause for concern, however a number of her colleagues didn't see the importance of employee satisfaction as it related to the firm's performance.
The truth is that employee satisfaction couldn't be more important to a firm's success. After a short conversation with this woman I directed her to an article I wrote based on a well know study conducted by Sears & Roebuck on the effect of employee satisfaction on a firm's revenue growth and profitability.

| A Bad Customer Experience - What is it Costing You??? |
A bad customer experience can leave a sour taste in the mouth of a customer of potential customer. The worse part is that in many situations a team member or organization is unaware that the customer has left dissatisfied.
Often times it is the added effort, or absense thereof that can make or break a customer's experience. In many situations all it takes is one bad experience to lose a customer forever.
